Is here. Headline: "Meet the Megadonors Who Have Spent $1.2 billion on the Midterm Elections"
The sum they don't post:
$844.5 million for R's which is 7.8 times more than
$108.2 million for D's (includes Soros, a capitalist's capitalist, so not really that lefty)
...and this excludes crypto donations (just under $250 million).
Update: A Little History
The NY Times reported that in the 2016 election, the right-wing, libertarian, raised-by-a-Nazi Kochs spent $889 million on political causes while pseudo-lefty, Hillary supporter George Soros spent $27 million. If your calculator's not handy that's just under 33 times as much spent just by one set of supporters of the political right.
That "raised-by-a-Nazi" phrase comes from Jane Mayer's Dark Money biography of the Kochs. The Koch brothers got their fortune from their father, Fred Koch, a clever chemist who formulated the best way to get useful products from crude oil.
Koch Industries built refineries all over the world, including for Hitler and Stalin. Fred Koch reportedly hated the Russians but loved the Germans, loving them enough to hire a German nanny to help raise his boys.
Fred consistently favored capital, helping to found, among other things, the far-right-wing John Birch society and many right-leaning think thanks, including (libertarian) Cato, Manhattan, Mercatus, the American Enterprise Institute and the authors of "Project 2025," the Heritage Foundation.
The nanny he hired to help raise his boys was a Nazi. She may have been a stern disciplinarian too, but she was definitely a member of Hitler's political party.
