My wife got a flat today...ran over a nail, and several people helpfully
pointed this out as she was getting gas. She was worried, and tried
(unsuccessfully) to call me, but a guy helpfully stepped up to help her
put her spare on the car. She wanted to pay him something, but he kept
refusing.
"We're Russians, thats just what we do...we help each other and the people around us."...said "Alex" the helpful tire changer...
So that's a touching story in and of itself, but I thought it was particularly significant since so much anti-Russian sentiment is prominent in the press. Why it's almost as if people wanted the U.S. and Russia to fight!
So this Russian kid is fighting the press, the Intelligence "community" and whoever else is itching for a fight. Pretty good, eh? Looks like he's winning to me...;-)
