Oakland's public bank

The text of the Oakland City Council's resolution authorizing a study of public banking (the precursor to the bank itself) is here.

I'm expecting some colleagues will come up with something similar for Sacramento soon.

www.publicbanking.org has more material, too...like the advantages of public banking.
