Jesus coined the "Wolf in sheep's clothing" phrase, and advises us to be
cunning (wise, etc.) as serpents and innocent as doves... so there's
something to investigate about the world. All that glitters is not gold,
etc.
To help about that, in public policy matters, Occupy the SEC has provided a handy chart, so you can see just how helpful your representative has been in re-regulating the financial sector. Ami Bera, my representative, scores 33.3 (out of 100). He's a Democrat, but while Republicans have led the way to de-regulating the sector of the economy whose frauds brought us all so much grief, they're not alone in kowtowing to our feudal masters.
